Are we all time travelers?

We humans don't occupy a single point in space.   So I'm wondering if the same is true of time.  I usually think of myself as occupying a single point in time.   There is the present moment an infinitesimal moment in time that I occupy and all other time can be grouped as either past or future.  However this goes against every other aspect of our lives.  Nothing really occupies a single point.   Therefore what seems more likely is that we occupy a time segment.   There is past and future and the present time segment which is actually a segment of time in which we exist in both past and future.  All time within that segment is accessible.   It is a region of timelessness between past and future where our imagination can conceive time scenarios.  Without this ability to time travel we would perhaps no concept of time at all.  We couldn't conceive of either a future or a past.
It's like looking at a picture.  If I could only see one point in that picture all I would see is a single color.    I don't determine what is in a picture by viewing each point one at a time.   I see a shape by viewing many points at once.   Time in order to be perceived must appear as a canvas.  This way it can be seen as a whole.  Without this music would only be a series of notes without any connection between them.

Perhaps though time is viewed on the canvas of ones mind's eye in a visual way.  I've percieved that perhaps if someone were disciplined enough he could actually travel to the beginning of his time segment.    The segment would then reset itself and center itself on the new location.   You could then move to the center of the previous one.   One could focus his attention on the beginning of each time segment and then reset the segment would then move so that it would make the point of focus the new center.  By focusing on the beginning each time gradually you could perhaps move back in time.   Different people might have a larger or smaller segment of time in which they exist just as some people occupy more or less space.   Perhaps there might be ways to increase the time segment more or less.  Perhaps a larger person actually exists within a larger time segment.

In Near Death Experiences there are tell-tale signs that these experiences are real.  One of them is that people say things that absolutely make no sense at all to me.   They all say it.   Why would so many people report seemingly impossible experiences?  One of these is the experience of timelessness.   They will say things like time doesn't exist.  I could almost throw it off and say well time is not an issue there.   No one grows old nothing changes.  But they will say that they can't place the events they experienced in any order because time didn't exist.  Everything could be said to happen at once or it could have happened over a period of a million years.  Another possibility is that they have access to all time periods.   They can move to any point in time they wish.  Past or future.
